Hetalia Game Preview: Resurgence

Well, guess what's finally done! Only took 50,000,000 tries, but the preview's finally uploaded. First, there was the entire conversion process, and I had to redo that several times to make sure nothing glitched out on me. I finally got the whole thing rendered and converted into the highest defenition possible. Since I wasn't using YouTube anymore, I had to find a place to upload it. Nicovideo was right out because the video was in high definition, but I finally found Veoh. The original video file was a whole 22.3 gigabytes, and so it was, understandably, taking a billion years to upload. So, I thought I'd reconvert it...then Sony Vegas Pro decided to stop working on me. I had to redownload the entire thing, since I hadn't kept that backed up, and of course, since I'd recently updated to Windows 8.1, the installer wasn't working. I got about a billion viruses trying to figure out what the problems was, so I had to reboot my entire computer, because my uninstallers weren't working, either. 8) I had to get professional help to get the program running again, then I had to go through the whole installation process. Once I was done with that, I put the video file into Sony Vegas Pro, re-converted it into .MP4 format, and it came out 627 megabytes. Then I realized one of the parts I'd used in the video wasn't supposed to be used in videos (which I think is incredibly stupid, by the way. Who in the world doesn't want something they've distributed to be used?), so I had to replace it with another part and convert the entire thing again. The original part looked better, but I didn't want to have to get in a fight with the person who made it. It just wasn't worth it. So, I converted the whole video to .MP4 format when I was done replacing the part, which took almost half an hour, and then the file was 627 megabytes. *sigh*

Well, that was much more reasonable, even if it took several hours to upload. Oh, yeah, still a lot of time, but a lot better! Luckily for me, Veoh has no limit on video sizes if you download the Web player. This is probably how I'm going to do videos from now on. I just can't handle the YouTube drama, or Google for that matter. I really dislike them.

Anyway, no spoilers about what the preview's about or what's going on. I really don't want to give away too much of the plot. I also hope I'm not building this up too much, because if I get someone too excited that's just gonna shoot me in the foot. ;w; Still, I can't help but feel passionate about this, especially when the script writing is pretty much done. So far, this is a solo project (which kinda sucks) so it's really slow going. Hopefully I can get a bit of a crew together soon. If not, then this'll just be the world's slowest project!
