Literature Text

I stood by the meadow
The sun shone upon me
And on the gold grass
But they ne'er saw me
I watched as they ran
So graceful and bonny
And I pray someday
One will come to me

She knelt 'neath the blossoms
Of the shade of the peach tree
Its head in her lap
But none e'er reached me
All the other maids
But none ever teach me
So I pray one day
One will come to me

A flash of their horns
And a toss of those manes
They galloped away
Just as fast as they came
And tho they be gone
They shall come again
And I'll pray someday
One will come to me
This is just a poem I wrote for fun about unicorns! ^-^ I love unicorns and I guess you could say this is my wish to see a unicorn someday. (Ignoring the fact that as far as we know, they don't exist! They could!)
